My friend Kara (not the Colorado friend) gave Sarah this cute Elephant connected to a paci thing. It is supposed to help her keep it in her mouth. She looks so sweet holding on to it. (-:
Aaron wanted to snuggle up with Sarah (this is from June 7) and they were having a really good time together!
Becca got home June 13th just in time for Rhubarb and Mulberries!
And kittens! Mom's cat that adopted them had four kittens, three Siamese and 1 dark tortoise shell.
Above, one of Dad's helpers for the summer, Willie. Below Mom in her lovely garden!
A really big caterpillar.
Sarah's hair looks orange in this picture, though most of the time it doesn't look nearly so bright.
Beautiful wheat ready to harvest!
Rhubarb!!!
After spending the day at my parent's farm we went into town to join the rest of the Bartel's available for appetizers and rhubarb/mulberry crunch with ice cream!!! Divine!!! I really think that God gives us little tastes of the kingdom all around us so that we will want to do our best to make things right here on earth. The love of our family and the beauty all around us and the taste of rhubarb/mulberry crunch.... definitely all tastes of the kingdom!
Becca and Sarah are wearing matching tops!
